“… a spectacular wedding cake— a nine-tier creation, which was over eight feet tall. The cake featured intricate sugar lace patterns and oversized peonies in various shades of pink wrapped around each tier. Vintage brooches, rhinestone banding and Swarovski crystals shimmered under the spotlight placed on the cake, which was topped with a glorious brooch bouquet.”

Wedding of Ryan Daniel Nassau and Danielle Marie Foreman

“Several of the guests did not even realise that the flowers were edible, as they looked so natural. “As for flavour, we went back and forth over that. I love vanilla birthday cake and this particular lychee cake that’s made down in Jamaica. Ryan loves German chocolate cake,” she explained. They were finally able to work out a compromise where the main cake was vanilla with a delicious fruity layered icing, and German chocolate cake (which had to be kept refrigerated all day) was served alongside it at the dessert station.”

Wedding of Samuel Prescod and Dr. Simarta Brennan

“Their four-tier traditional wedding cake was yet another masterpiece by Selena Wong. The cake was decorated with hand-crafted sugar flowers that cascaded down the side. Gold ribbons also delicately adorned the base of each tier.”

Wedding of Dr. Desmon Antonio Brown and Misty Dawn Hubbard

“While trying to come up with the design, I wanted something whimsical and fun which was indicative of our personalities and relationship. I also wanted something that was elegant,” recalls Misty. “I looked in a few magazines for some ideas, but Selena was able to take my wishes and the colour scheme for the wedding and tie it all together. She is a genius. Not only was the cake beautiful, but it tasted amazing!” she exclaimed.”

Wedding of Keshtina Campbell and Shane Bonner

“Their four-tier traditional fruitcake, which was created by Selena Wong, was anything but ordinary. It was decorated with handmade fondant roses and orchids, silver beads, rhinestone bands and pendants.”

Wedding of Dr. Zwade Jabari Marshall and Roshal Leigh Erskine

“The idea for the cake,” shared the beautiful bride Roshal Marshall, “came from a design I saw on Pinterest. I loved the design so much that it became the inspiration for our cake. Our initials in gold and the flowers along the cake were added touches that made ours unique. We thought a passion fruit-flavoured cake was Caribbean-inspired and complemented the traditional rum cake that was also served.”
